Martín CASARIEGO
Martín Casariego (Madrid, 1962) has published various novels, short stories, books for children and several screenplays. Among his novels, one should mention: Qué te voy a contar (Anagrama, 1989, Tigre Juan Prize), Algunas chicas son como todas (Plot, 1992 / Espasa Calpe, 2000 ), La hija del coronel (Algaida Editores, 1997, Ateneo de Sevilla Prize), La primavera corta, el largo invierno (Espasa Calpe, 1999), La jauría y la niebla (Algaida, 2009, II Logroño Prize for Fiction), Un amigo así (Planeta, 2013), El juego sigue sin mí (Siruela, 2015), awarded the prestigious Café Gijón Novel Award and Como los pájaros aman el aire (Siruela, 2016). He also published a collection of literary portraits of historical figures entitled Con las suelas al viento (La línea del horizonte, 2017).
His latest work is the Max Lomax noir series, of which the three first installments have just been published: Yo fumo para olvidar que tú bebes (Siruela, 2020), Mi precio es ninguno (Siruela, 2021) and Demasiado no es suficiente (Siruela, 2022).
